i would be impressed if any of you really knew. I have known JJgold now for 9 solid years, since 1999, early 2000.. we have talked to each other everywhere including chats, phone calls, emails and face to face... but i still have yet to know what his real first name is.. Does anyone actually know with 100% accuracy what his real first name is.. i have heard so many different ones that were confirmed by people.. but all were obviously wrong, as he can only have one.. This has been a mystery now for 9 yrs.

so what is his first name?

i don't need to know, maybe it's private and jj doens't wanted anyone to know. i wouldn't want anyone to know my real name too.. why share that info with a bunch of degenerates who never leave the house.

but i just want to know if anyone knew. i would say there are probably 3 guys in forum history out of 22,239 posters who know his name. JJ is the man of mystery..

maybe his name is Jerome Jacob as you say.. but it's the GOLD that confuses me. I used to think he was a JEW named GOLD.. GOLD is a very common jewish last name.. But not only don't i know what his 1st name is, i don't even know if he is ITALIAN or JEWISH. i've heard jj is italian, and i have also heard he is a JEW..

flyer, hank goldberg sounds great. but for some reason, i have always called him JJ goldstein. maybe that's his real name. Maybe his 1st name is JJ.. why would anyone create a name from some unknown character on sat night fever. i think his real name is not RED.. it's JJ.. and gold is short for GOLDSTEIN.

when Jj walks in Newark, everyone follows him around. he is like a movie star there. i remember once i drove by Newark and went through JJ's town and i saw about 23 kids looking up at a window, and i saw JJ throwing bazooka bubble gum down to them.. the kids love JJ and so does the whole city of Newark.

he is very well known there, i can vouch for that. everyone knows jj is a high roller gambler. when he goes to the local clubs, everyone crowds around him and asks him for advice.. he is looked up to in Newark by everyone.

I've never seen JJ make anti-semitic comments. He's honest and open in his views, and is very critical of Israel as a main cause of Mideast turmoil. That ain't anti-semitic; big diff between anti zionist and anti-sem.

And, I doubt that Red Skelton was a Jew - tho many American comics have been and are (Jackie Mason is "the Ultimate Jew" as his new show bills itself, and the best of the current practitioners of that trade.)
