Default Trev Alberts let go by ESPN

He had some issues with upper mgmt having to do with the gameday crew now starting to take over the college gameday post game wrap up late night so he was fired or released.
He was a good guy, very opinionated but good information.

No other station covers college foots like espn so alberts gonna have tough time finding a better gig than what he had. So now we are left with Reece Davis and Mark May.

Regarding the Sunday night crew I have to defend Mike Patrick. I actually like his 'over the top' enthusiasm and he also has some substance. Theismann and McGuire are indefensible, though, and over-analyze things to death. They never shut up and although knowledgable are annoying as hell. Even though I like Mike Patrick a lot, I think a completely subdued monotone style like Pat Summerall is great as well. Sorry to get off the subject a bit, not a big Trev Alberts fan either. A bit too cocky, arrogant, smug, for his own good.

I guess I'm by myself on this one. I liked Trev Alberts, especially when with Mark May. I'm afraid Davis and May by themselves, or Davis, May, and someone like Bob Davies, would make for a boring, overly analytical show.

Albert will never get a job again

He was not liked and always looked like he had an attitude

I couldn't agree more. Patrick is good. The other two bozos can walk for all I care.

Every time Trev was done making a point, they should have had the old mel kiper jumior cuts on him replayed. I hated Trev, that smug ass look he had at all times and that 1956 hair-do !!!!
