I really appreciate what you have put together regarding the capping contest. I know it has taken a lot of your time and energy dealing with setting it all up. I am sure you are having to answer a lot of questions from the SBR players and making sure it's running smooth. I personally would like to thank you and I appreciate what you have done. I really think that it would be a great idea if we have more capping contests in this form. It makes things more interesting around here. I think if you continue to run the contests you need to be compensated in some way. I already told you I will get you a nice little collection for your father once you give me the list. I also am willing to go in with some people and hook you up at the bash with some kind of gift. Doesn't matter if the participating parties want to throw some cash out and bet the game of your choice and you win you get the winnings. Something in that form or any other ideas. I think it would be a nice thing to do. If I am alone on this I will do it myself. I just want to let you know it is greatly appreciated.

damn, nice post illini. I work for the forum already and any extra time on the board i put in just because i enjoy it. money is fine, but the biggest luxury about working here is the people you work with (the big bossmen through all the mods and tech guys) and then of course the people who post here. I was up at 3am with diogee working on grading and posting the lines and i honestly just enjoyed thinking about how much fun it seems like everyone is having. sometimes my eyes get crossed looking at this computer all day, but thats just kinda funny. when you think about it, there are people all over the world doing things they hate just to get by, i enjoy this and its hard to call it work. These contests also give people something to talk about aside from drama which is nice. the real thanks goes to everyone who chips in (i mean look at the list of prizes offered by people including yourself), the guys behind the scenes like ganch, onlooker, illusion, BBD, willie bee, and the ivantator who help me within about 12 seconds every time i have a question, and then mr bill who tells me that he trusts me to do what i like (for the most part lol)...having some freedom to do things with the board is awesome and then knowing i have 10+ guys, that are 40 times brighter than i am, to help is a luxury that most people don't have.

we're a community here big man. this isn't the 40s where you only met your friends in person, i consider a lot of you my buds and i will always do whatever i can to make time available or create something fun. whats unbelievable to me is that guys like junkman, madcapper, yourself, kellen, jackpot, iwin, diogee, chute and others actually offer to help. i don't even have to ask, people just offer.

sbr is hands down the best group of people on any of the forums. im lucky to be here, its not the other way around.
