Default Best book for betting horses

IS there a reputable place that only offers Horse wagering? I want to keep my horse money separate from my sports money. I also want to be able to watch the races. I guess I can do that at TVG, right?

Pinnacle is good, but I guess you can't join. http://www.horseplayerinteractive.com/, dunno if Americans can sign up, you can get free videos/replays with them.

The ADW (Advanced Deposit Wagering) situation is a ****ing mess right now(horsemen fighting with the tracks over ADW revenues), Americans pretty much need 3 accounts to bet all the tracks they like. youbet.com, http://www.xpressbet.com/, http://www.twinspires.com/content/.

gl man, you're gonna need it.

Play at legal shops and not any offshore places as they will fuk you when you win.

    Twin Spires, Youbet

It all depends on what state you live because some states restrict you

Not true about offshore. Cris and Betonline are safe and give great rebates. If you can break even or show a small profit on horses (a huge assumption), then these are the places to play. The rebate will put you in the black.

You have me on that point. The pick 6 carry-overs can be very lucrative. But drop a huge amount on a horse to win at the track and your odds drop. Any similar bet offshore has zero effect on the odds. Just saying...and then you get 7-8% back regardless, not bad IMO.

I use TwinSpires because they give you free past performances on any track you bet and I can get my money in and out quickly. Also I can bet right up to until the race starts unlike a lot fo the Sportsbooks where they close the race earlier.

I tend to stick with only the big tracks in California , NY and Kentucky.

I use BetJamaica to bet tracks which TwinSpires does not offer like Churchill Downs. There limits are pretty low but I get by as I don't use them too often. You can get up to 7.5% rebate from Jamaica.

I know TwinSpires is a Churchill Downs company so they basically cannot take bets on their own races

    This is from their website:

Although discussions continue between Churchill Downs Incorporated officials and the Kentucky Horsemen, there has been no agreement as of 11AM Eastern Wednesday, May 21st. For this reason, we must regretfully advise our players to make other (non-ADW) arrangements for placing bets on Churchill Downs racetrack. We are hopeful that this matter will be resolved shortly. Please check back with us frequently for updates.

Unfortunately, due to this unresolved issue, TwinSpires is unable to offer wagering on racing held at Churchill Downs racetrack.

We deeply regret the inconvenience that this situation has caused.

They took wagers on the Derby and the race before but that was it.

    Kellen,
Remember our conversation? You should really get an account ya know? Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail. The horse wagering is great on the site.

Twinspires is very good because if you bet $2 on the race track your betting you get all type of free reports for the day at that track including past performances..

For a sportsbook, Wagerweb is good. I mostly play pick 4's and they pay good for a book. It is between $30,000 and $50,000 max payout I believe (major tracks). Check for yourself to be sure. The most I won on a pick 4 there was $2,300 at Turfway. It sure beats paying taxes and the rebate for platinum level (which I am) is $6.47 per $100 bet, Anything over $2,000 in action per day the amount goes up.

A whole of a hell lot better than Betjam with their 600-1 cap on pick 3/4. Maybe they could go rape some more people with the putrid caps.
