i feel sorry for the guy , this team will go downhill from where they are now , which seems impossible.

Respectfully disagree, Francis. I can't for the life of me figure out why Bochy wanted out of San Diego. I can't imagine that he couldn't get along with John Moores in San Diego and thought he'd have a better relationship with Peter Macgowan in San Fran, that just doesn't work out in my mind. Moores is known as a very, very generous and kind boss while Macgowan is a horse's patoot. And it's not like he left to join a Giants team necessarily on the rise, plus had to put up with the Bonds circus last season.

If Bochy and Black stay with their teams 10 years each, I'm betting on more playoff appearances for Black than Bochy. San Diego is just horrible right now on offense, and they're going to have to start thinking about getting a new closer into the fold. But I'd much rather be managing the Pads the next 5-10 years under an owner like Moores than have a damn thing to do with the Giants and Macgowan.
