Pistons only +170?
I am hammering the Pistons ML. Pistons have been preparing for a week for this showdown tonight well rested. I believe that Celtics took a pounding from the Cavs and are not mentally prepared to compete tonight. If there is a game Pistons can steal in Boston is definitely this one.
Good luck and always have a back up plan like I do when you bet (I still have a daytime job to feed my family).

Not mentally prepared? Like the Celtics crew themselves said, surviving 2 game 7's already has them in a hyped. And they play better against better teams.
They all learned each other well in playoff "pressure" and made the process, took a couple extra games but here they are.
This is why books make so much, cause the public thinks they know a situation from seeing a prior event, but things change up. I mean Celtics won all 4 games against the HAWKS this season, but lost 3 to them in the playoffs. So 1 factor wont determine the other factor in this league.
well he's using the cliche intangible their rested and mentally prepared but all that stuff is hogwash ........... not saying this is a bad play but the media will use the result card on what will happen in this game. if boston wins , then their gonna say det was rusty .......... and if det wins its that det was well rested its bullshit, it goes either way theres no for gone conclusion b 4 the game starts to really make a determination.

i like the way avery johnson said it, these teams are not tired ........ its the playoffs these r profesional atletes .......... but if boston looses the media will speculate that they were beat up from the cle series to me i think its nonsence if det wins that means they played better in this paticular game bottom line !
Tsoprano, This is why they play the game. It's tough mentally for the Celtics having to play their butts out twice in a row to win desicive game 7 only two days ago. When the Celtics trashed Hawks on game 7 with a walk through they were trailing Cavs on game one till the latter stages of the game. They had to play their best game two days ago against Cavs to win and they took a pounding to do so. I see this game as the best chance the Pistons have to win in Boston. A worn, tired Celtics team against a rested motivated Pistons team. I am not saying Pistons will trash Celtics but they are closer to win in Boston than previous teams given the circumstances of this game.
