I would give the slight edge to Johan statitically, and also the Pods are moving in the fences at Petco slightly. Also, every fantasy publication I've seen has Johan as the #1 SP pick

no brainer. Johan.

Personally i wouldn't even make Peavy top 5 after his injury in the playoffs last year and the fact like Dan said..moving the fences in.

Well it depends on where you can get Peavy. You maybe able to find him in round 2 or 3. Johan can go in the 1st round. So if you want to risk waiting on Peavy, and pick up a better position player in the 1st round/2nd round, then do that and get Peavy later.

You have to get the feel of the draft and adjust to it, on how people are picking.

I'd take Santana then Oswalt. Peavy is fine, and I'm not really too worried right now about his postseason injury or the fences (left field only is how I understand it) coming in a bit. The strange thing about that is that all three of those pitchers are performing on teams with a lot of offensive questions and teams that are picked between 75-85 wins this year. Could probably throw Ben Sheets into this group as well.

Two guys who could give you more wins with strong ERA, WHIP and K stats as well are Halladay and Beckett.
