great movie. if stu can win in poker and lose everything in sports and ponies, that means sportsbetting is harder than poker.

i really liked that movie. kind of reminds me of that one period in my life where i was heading towards his crazy days. this movie is well made, nice casting for the hookers/mistress and their parts, little exaggeration but pretty realistic.

i like the line, "staying at hotel rooms and sleeping with hookers is not a life" and the one "can i just pay the electricity bill for the whole year and not have to worry about it?" once you been in that mind set, you'll apprciate the movie much more...sometimes stu's actions seems 100% logical (the movie is pretty good at developing his character...plus i read about him before), but everyone else thinks he is nuts.

I read a few books on him when I was in my Poker mode a year ago ....U learn more about him from books I think but good movie
