They match up better vs Detroit and Ray Allen will show up to a game or two

actually, i like to change my answer to 0. after pistons win 4-2, they're done.

There's absolutely no chance Ray Allen continues his ice cold streak.

This guy is missing wide open looks, that's not going to continue for a full series with Detroit.

I wonder what the record is for fewest road wins during playoffs by an NBA champion?

They will win one in Detroit. And they'll do it just to piss Deuce off.

I believe it is 3. I could be mistaken though.

None. As long as Billups is healthy, Celtics are done.

Detroit wins games 1,3,4,5 to win in 5, so boston wins no road games

I voted 1, but they could still reach the Finals with 0. Well, the fact is they could win the whole thing with 0 road wins, but I sense they will lose at least one home game along the way. If that loss happens vs. the Pistons, I do think the Celtics are capable of winning at Detroit when they absolutely have to.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the arrogance factor, that being that Boston really hasn't minded losing on the road all that much because they KNEW they wouldn't lose at home the first two rounds. That attitude won't fly going forward.

Maybe "haven't minded" was a poor choice of words. Sunstitute haven't HAD to because they were confident they would win as long as they maintained HCA, which they have throughout.

As a Laker fan i HOPE Boston wins the East because I see it as the weaker team.

Wow! Boston has already won 2 road games and just about everybody has them down for one in LA!

    How the times change indeed!

Now I know why the line is -9.5, maybe it's getting back to reality?
