I am sitting at home sorting out some raw cards I purchased from an Estate sale. I am sorting through and picking out the nice ones to send in to SGC in the morning. The game is on but not paying attention. All I know is if my bet doesn't win I will be livid. Mets +1.5

You are a psa guy I take it. My buyers prefer SGC high grade e95, t202, high grade t207, m116 1888 goodwin champions and old judge. I know 4 of the top investors in the country who crossed over all their psa to sgc. It is common knowledge that sgc demands more for prewar.. I am talking high grade 5 and 6 figures

Yes for the cards you are talking about SGC is a better option than PSA to me. I don't like either I am a BGS Guy. I only collect and sell modern cards. 82-Present. I have an Immense collection of graded cards.

That is a tough nut to crack. Pre-war/tobacco cards. Never interested me. There is money in it for the right crowd of buyers. Built-in audience

Well you see Sir, we are in a world apart, it is like comparing a penny to a millon dollars. I deal in high end 1887-1930s. I like to try and stay up to 1913.

Tobacco cards are great and demand a high premium. However the "E" cards have taken over. I sold a high end e95 set for more money than I make in a year.

Wow. Nice score pal. I hit a fukodome auto 1of1 last week. Best pull in a couple weeks.

I really don't know what that is. I know they make cards that say 1/1 1/50 1/999 etc etc. Sounds cool, great "pull". Is this a ghost messing with me? Has to be! When you mentioned you wouldn't buy a SGC card but you would buy and collet bgs. It kind of gave it away.. haha. i showed leon and Donny this thread and they spit their coffee out laughing. Is this Karl or Danny from the prewar board?

No ghost pal. I collect BGS. For modern cards it is the only graded brand that matters. PSA goes for half of what my BGS 9.5 Gems go for. BGS is the strictest graders in the market and thus bring the best return. As far as 1 of 1's they are obviously rare. I only collect rookies and rookie parallels. I prefer autos but all rookies will do. Bowman Chrome is where it is at for Baseball. I will pay no more than 20-25 a pack for cards. I do not do the 1000.00 a pack stuff. It's ridiculous.
