Gyno, you know how this ish goes...

I guarantee we see Ray Allen all of a sudden wake up and have the games of his life. This goes 7 games for sure.

I think Detroit takes it in 5 or 6. Boston still hasn't proven anything on the road.

I can certainly see the reasoning behind it, that's why I think it'll go the distance. Maybe I am just trying to talk myself out of it because I did go on record as saying if Boston doesn't win at least 1 game in Cleveland they will NOT beat Detroit.

Boston has no need to win on the road.

True but I don't think they want to be stuck in continual game 7's and have a situation where the game is up for grabs with two minutes left.

Detroit CAN win in Boston, not saying they will but Boston needs to play better on the road or they are not winning jacksh*t this year. If Detroit can't take one in Boston, Kobe certainly can..

I mean loosing a parlay by one game happens from time to time, but the way I lost this one. Its gonna hurt for alittle while mos def ......... my only loss minn +23.5 34 -10 michigan over minn, half a point, with a meaningless 85 yard touchdown run by the thrid string running back of michigan with roughly 3 min to play .........

At those prices I love the Pistons (and I'm a C's fan).

C's need Ray Allen to show up to win a game on the road. Please Ray. We love you and need you. : )

Looks like you have a winner to me. I wouldn't hedge, especially with the first two games in boston.

If you're just hedging, bet the Pistons ML throughout the series. You'll be getting better value that way. Series odds usually have a ton of grease built into it.

It appears that Celtics -128 will be the series price. If you want to hedge you might want to do it game by game backing the Pistons on the moneyline.

Wow. Celtic -128 is low. I think Boston is the play here.

i think the championship game will be between the lakers, and celtics.the refs will be bias for these teams to get to the championship..the ratings will go through the roof.

    HUH?

    I'll take Celts -128 for $500,000 please!

Series will be around Boston -145 / Detroit +125

If Boston is less than -140, I may seriously make a 2-unit series wager. Remember, ML on Game 1 will be around Boston -185.

Detroit will win in 5 or possibly sweep. Why someone would bet a team that took 7 games to beat the Hawks is amazing.

What odds will you give me that Boston wins at least two games?

Celtics in 7, and don't be surprised if each team wins one game on the road (yes, even Boston).

I would like the Pistons if Billups were healthy. I'd have to take the Celtics the way things stand, however.

Boston winning at least 2 I have to give you -280 and thats generous, I'll give you EV on Boston winning the series if you want to make it interesting

I'd say "generous" would be a huge understatement.

Even if you gave Boston a 60% probability of winning at home and a paltry 20% probability of winning on the road, this would relate to a 75.424% probability of Boston winning at least 2 games, implying at -280 an edge of 2.361%.

Even these understated numbers, btw, would imply a Detroit series win probability of 66.458%, further implying edge on the Detroit series bet at +125 of 49.530%.
