I use mine all the time (just got it a couple months ago from bookmaker) it's perfect, always on so you don't have to go through a ton of steps to see the scores like you do with a cell phone (makin it obvious to your gf at the theater you're checking on your bets), you just press the button yawn and glance at the backlit scoreboard.

I've got a motorola razr no real-time scores shown until you browse the internet with their cheap ass mobile browser for 10 mins, not a fan of the iphone and 100/month charge with a 2yr committment just to use the phone on top of 400 for the phone itself or pda phones for that matter, just use my phone for talking and take the sports pager with me whenever I'm on the road with bets in action

I haven't used one in ages. I had one of the originals when the first came into existence. It was bigger then a blackberry and you had to use an antenna.

I would be interested to hear what they display once they are charged up. Does it still say Island for the offshore stuff? Man that seems like 100 Years ago. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Francis. You talking about the score or line pagers?
