Any posters u wanna meet NOT signed up for the bash thus far?
I'm a bit surprised at all the signups of the young posters to the bash thus far. Usually u have worse jobs and less money when younger in life. So that is surprising IMO
But as for posters who i'd wanna meet for different reasons.

Yeah I think they reimburse you up to $300 in the form of cash or check at the bash.
I'm thinking on plane ticket u buy your own and get it reinbursed. As for the hotel u just gotta leave a CC with them and that's it.
It would be dumb idea for SBR to front you the airfare. It is going to be done just like a real business would do it. You pay out of pocket for the ticket and I am sure we will have to send in receipts etc etc and it will take a few months to get a check. That is perfectly fine with me and it is how it is usually done. I have been a part of this kind of thing with other companies and my business and we always pay out of pocket then get reimbursed. I could be wrong but I would be shocked and a dumb move for them to front anything.
100% Correct. You always have to pay up front for business trips, and then the money is reimbursed to you.

Actually more than likely that I won't be able to make it. Have a couple of prior engagements -- a two-week trip to Italy in early August that was scheduled well before I was aware of the bash, as well as a family reunion type thing in Florida in July (who goes to Florida in July?) to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday that I won't be able to get out of, both of which will eat at my vacation time. Not a certainty that I won't be able to attend, but probably 50/50 at best that I'll be in Vegas for the bash.Did you register yet bud? I didn't look at the list, but I'm hoping you're going.

there are alot of posters i'm interested in meeting - some of whom won't have the balls to go. either way from my perspective it's a trip that i just can't pass up. it's perfect timing for me too because grad school semester starts right after the trip ends.
Damn, that's a shame that you can't make it man, was looking forward to shooting the shit with ya over at the Wynn or the Mirage while watching some bases. Oh well, maybe next year. I'd take a 2 week trip to Italy over 2 days at the bash any day of the week. I hope you have a great time. Hopefully I'll be making it over there in the next few years myself. I want to check out where the great-grandparents grew up.
