Thumbs up WNBA Opening Day Lines Are Finally Out

I don't know about you guys, but I feel that WNBA wagering is profitable.

You do get some crazy line movements with this league.

Who the hell are the Atlanta Dream? Was it a team that moved or did they add a team?

I agree, Dan. Will the SBR linetracker cover the WNBA? Currently it's not loading.

Glad I'm not the only one.

Only player I know is Lisa Leslie. Does she even still play?

She's back. She took last year off to push out a puppy.

I think the same thing happened to Robert "Tractor" Traylor in the NBA a few years ago. Or maybe he just looked pregnant.

You're missing gold-in opportunities if you don't bet on the WNBA. It's far more predictable than any other major sport, imho.

There aren't any sports where making statements like: bet favorites or dogs, or bet under/over, makes any sense. WNBA lines may be soft, but bookmakers don't just give cash away, it's not 1992 anymore.

fwiw favorites are 842-830-30 ATS all time in the WNBA

Kat, Does this fall into your "thinking out of the box theory" from back in March?

Beaver Ball turned me a profit last season, but I have to admit I did a lot of coat-tailing.

Girl ball is something totally different. Linesmen have a difficult time putting the line close. I was only half joking when i commented on Midol. Stuff like that makes a difference. Wise guys will even know who just broke up with their lezbo girlfriend before game time. I think durito commented on soft lines--this is for sure a "sport" that has them. One hint--coaches carry more weight in this than in men's sport. Good luck

I am having some problems finding WNBA data (and the search engine for that matter) at Covers. If anyone has the exact URL, please reply with it.

Durito, I have raw WNBA information in my database from July 12, 2005 until the end of 2007. If you don't mind doing someone elses homework, how did favs do during this period? I am hoping they did about 50% during this time period, and did not underperform, which would strongly confirm an angle I am working on. Otherwise, back to the drawing board.
