"Hello fellow losers I am The Prick. I have been picking games on different radio shows and publications for years.

The way this works is I'm going to kick your ass every week because I pick winners. If you ever get lucky and beat me then the good ole mafia guys at BetCRIS will slip you a C note. I think they picked me because they know they won’t have to fork over much cash.

Pick college or NFL games I don't really care but don’t be an ass and throw in a total because only straight up side bets count.

I will pick 3 games and designate one pick as my "best pick". Then you pick 3 and also designate one selection as your best pick.

BetCRIS has some other rules to throw up so check back and read the fine print.

My picks will go up every Tuesday. You can post your losers on Wednesday.

Rules for the SBR beat "The Prick" contest sponsored by CRIS

• All winnings will be placed into your BetCRIS account. You must have a BetCRIS account with at least $50 before we will credit your account. 3x rollover required before withdrawal requests will be processed. Your BetCRIS ID details must be forwarded to us by noon on Friday following being named a winner of the prize will be forfeited.
  
  

• Players will wait until The Prick has made his selections before picking their games.

• Players will use the lines printed in the thread The Pricks Picks

• Players can not select the The Pricks Picks or pick the same game against The Prick. Once The Prick selects either team that game is off the board for the contest.

• The scoring will be as follows: 2 points for your winning Best Pick(-2 if it losses) 1 point for the other two winning picks(-1 on losses). Pushes count as zero.
  You must beat The Prick to win $100. Ties do not win any prizes.

• Players must also indicate which play is their top play. If a player fails to indicate their top play the first posted play will be counted as their top play.

• Only sides, no totals

• Players that enter an incorrect game, a game not played on the weekend, a total instead of a side, ect., will have incorrect selections automatically marked as a loss. Players must also submit their picks prior to the first kickoff on Saturday.

• You may select college selections or pro selections to be played only on Saturday or Sunday. No other days count.

• The contest is limited to 20 winners weekly. If there are more than 20 winners the tie breaker will be the amount of posts per contestant. The top twenty with the most posts will be awarded $100.

• All players who beat The Prick for the season, have played in at least 14 weeks and have a winning record will get a SBR logo Tommy Bahama silk shirt valued at $119.

• Either Sportsbook Review or BetCRIS may deny entry or prizes for any contestant with out cause and rules may be modified without prior notice.

• 1 account per person, No duplicate accounts or email addresses, and your IP address must not be obscured, cloaked or otherwise unidentifiable.

I know you punters have been drooling all week since SBR and CRIS announced this chance to win some free cabbage, but if you were already counting your chickens then you're due for a reality check or a prescription change. Here they are, sheep, and don't get your feelings hurt when you get spanked. I've been doing this for longer than most of you have been wearing long pants, and there is no shame in losing out to your betters.
I'm gonna give you one NCAA no-brainer this week, and that's the Hawkeyes crushing the Cyclones. You don't have to be married to a corn-fed heffer to realize that this Iowa team the real deal, even though lighting up Ball State last week for 49 in the first half is no major digs. Bottom line, this is for bragging rights in the Hog capital, and I'll take the second best team in the Big 10 over the 5th best team in the Big 12 all week long and twice on Saturday IOWA -8 1/2
Anybody with half a brain in their head knows that the 49ers are still the worst team in the NFL. No offense, no defense, and the only special teams they have are the players on the roster that still ride the short bus to school. I don't love the Rams, because in my book they are a little short in the testicular endowment category, but i love them in this match-up. Without even handicapping this game at all, i'm taking the Rams all the way to the bank as a modest road favorite. St Louis -6
Last, and far from least, is The Prick's 5-star, baby-needs-a-new-pair-of-shoes, lock of the week. I reckon old CRIS says i need a pick that counts double, and this one is it.......Here's the scenario: take one of the game's all-time great field generals, and give him about 6 months to grind away at nearly single-handedly ending his team's season last year. Does a fellow like that, close to being at the end of his string, hang up the old cleats for good, or does he fume, plot, train, and scheme on the first shot at redemption he may get in the next season? I'm betting that creaky old Bret Favre figures out a way to light the Lions up for about 48 points, which is probably about as many points as his crappy defense is going to give up. In any scenario, i'm married to Green Bay as an opening-day road dog against a team with a whole bunch of firepower but without anyone to pull the trigger. Green Bay +3
