I fell into this fast paced Atlantic City Life with drugs, alchol, strippers, gambling and it was great when it was good but the roller coaster eventually stopped peaking and hit a deep valley. I was basically living at the taj mahaj rarely sober and was doing really well playing poker. Went from 2,000 bankroll to about 30,000 in 90 days and well you the rest. Fast Money is deceptive. I have no regrets but im just trying to attain some balance in my life right now. That life is so tempting and exciting but I gotta find a happy medium.

I ended up having nothing at all to do with the bash. a project of that magnitude was not fitting for me. we'd all end up at the golden boner arkansas instead of golden nugget in vegas and id have a lot of explaining to do.

I wanted to get to 50,000 and take a shot at a few events at the World Series this year, but That didn't work out. I peaked at 33,500 and just blew it all in 1/10 of the time I built it up, Chasing casino floor games drunk/high.

Wow. I can't believe you blew 33.5k. I would have dropped my stakes and exercised good discipline, that's a very respectable roll to grow with some easy cash at lower stakes.

You were chasing a pipedream, this isn't Rounders son it's real life. You'll be lucky to sniff 33.5k again starting out with 2k. You think running hot is sustainable..?

    VARIANCE brother, google that term...

Because people like this deserve the truth, so they don't get it in their heads that this is a good idea. He is just looking for sympathy now that he blew it, and when he can he'll try to make another run at it. I'm just saying, it's better for him to be realistic instead of chase the World Series of Poker pipedream...

    Maybe you disagree w/ that..

    Welcome back

I guess you were at GA meetings , when posters leave it usually is because of gambling debt.
