Even if they acquire a hundred guys that will pay, they will eventually have limits raised. Then you have some more guys that will pay a few times before bailing. And of course you have the stiffs that won't pay but you never paid them. The only way they are hurt is paying winners that don't return the favor. And I think we can agree those players are the scum of the earth, because those are the same types of people who would not honor a deal with you or I. The same type of people that pollute the offshore industry, and you can find them on any forum and sadly most brag about it.

It confusses me why people talk crap about them, yet have not used them. I understand those who gave them a shot lost and now bad mouth them because they are trying to justify in their own minds why they shouldn't pay.

Now I respect Dozer, but it appears from his comment, which was funny! That he has made up his mind that this place is stupid and would never recommend it to anyone.

I thought SBR was unbiased and waited for all the facts before coming to an conclusion.

I am a little concerned about this comment from a mod in SBR.

The only difference between a stiff and a super stiff is the supers have verified who they were by cashing a check. X% are stiffs and X% of those will collect before stiffing. The more exposure they get the higher the percentage will be.

Dan is a classy guy, but he is also experienced. This isn't the 1st credit shop he's come across, and we know how most of these with such secretive ownership ladders end up. He is simply taking a hard line because of how new the joint is, but I guarantee you that if they continue to pay and are around this time next year, he will loosen up. Especially if they get into a position where they are comfortable with an on-site inspection. Thing is, they don't need to pay SBR to market them even if they would accept them, because they get tons of free press as is!

I've had conversations with them, and I'm pretty sure they've thought this out. It seems like a wild plan and all, but I don't think they've left any stone unturned. I'm not sure how much you've communicated with them, but they seem to at least believe in what they are doing.
