When i get a 2nd job. lol i will try to do another one soon, but im not heavily funded at this time, i just like to have a good time with the guys here. giving things is awesome, i wish i had more.

It was a nice gesture. Hopefully SBR will do more things like this spontaneously, I think aside from BTP contest they hold a quarter until the eagle screams.

SBR has nothing to do with this. This is just me, a poster, and you guys. I never got any 'permission', I just wanted to do something for/with you guys.

no one 'should do anything'. we have mods grading contests which i was obviously bad at, mods giving amazing advice with books, mods taking care of ghosts...im not even a mod. I do spend a ton of time on the forums and i really respect the relationship with you guys. i get to work here, i really enjoy that, and that would not be possible without you guys. appreciation is as important as anything in the world, and i appreciate everything ive got and the time i get to spend laughing/capping/talkin sports with you ladies and gents.

That's what I mean, it was a nice gesture of you. But they should also do more things themselves like this. They do have the BTP contest and bash finally but they make enough money to throw a few bucks out per month in more fun contests.
I'm also sure there are plenty B books that would give away cool prizes without SBR even doing anything other than mentioning their name as hosting the contest, the new signups alone would cover that.

SBR has a boat load of stuff coming up. Before football season you should have plenty of things to look forward to.

Oddly enough, I've never received an infraction here. I am sure someone will screw with me and send one now, but I am a savvy forum user. I know what I can get away with saying and doing. That comes with having no social life unfortunately.

Yeah, I was only playing about taking his $50, I'm bored tonight and in a joking mood. If I was mad or wanted to make an issue about it, I would've messaged him with something other than just a thumbs down icon, lol. It was because another poster asked for the link to the cw stiff's page, and BBD got me for "Spammed Advertisements". When I saw the msg from him, I was actually hoping it was to thank me for the posters I referred to SBR sponsored books when they signed up.

yeah, looks like SBR hardline with that issue due to the fact that it has personal information on it.

Exactly why I didn't get mad. I realized that it's a liability for SBR to have people's personal information on the site, and BBD was just doing his job. If I worked for SBR, I would've done the exact same thing. I just didn't think about it at the time, I thought I was only helping another poster. Anyways. sounds good bud, enjoy your sleep. I'll talk to ya tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Mo has shown the way with great contests and other ideas.
An NFL Survivior sponsored by SBR and some Book would be a great contest. You could pick any NFL team to win (straight-up, no pointspread) each week, but can use that team only once during the tourney. Could be fun.
Appreciate the $50 and will use it to take my lovely wife out to dinner.
