Angry Betonline basically stop taking Neteller deposits

I am a very satysfied BOL customer but unfortunatelly now after their changes i cannot anymore keep playing with them. They do not anymore allow Neteller deposits online. The only way to deposit by Neteller is to give them your 12 digit Neteller ID ( that's ok ) plus your 6 digit secure ID. Even Neteller say you to not give this ID to anyone. BOL is refusing to accepting Neteller deposit though your Neteller account with their Neteller merchant code. NO WAY i am going to play at BOL anymore unless they change this.

They've been very shady with Neteller deposits/payouts.

This is disturbing news--especially of a highly rated book here (and advertiser).

Bill? BBD? Could you get them to clarify their position on Neteller deposits/withdrawals?

    Thanks

Didn't you have to give your security code to use neteller before? Been awhile since I used them but I seem to remember having to do that for all sites....

When you use your 6 digit secure ID to make Neteller deposits ONLINE, it is encrypted so nobody can ( should ) see it ( like ************ ).

Neteller deposits have always been made in 2 ways that's online ( encrypted ) or through your Neteller account and there is a reason beyond this ...

    Thankyou BBD.

Appreciate your followup on this BBD. I have a lot of respect for BOL overall and I have been vocal about them not taking Moneybookers (by the way, if you got their ear anyway--why not hit them up strong abt that?), but if they are really screwing around with Neteller......

    thats just WRONG

BOL's a good book although I pissed away the $100 that I won in a contest. Thanks BOL and SBR for the contest.

i totally agree. they have no business at all asking a customer to give out his Neteller Secure ID. I'm already uncomfortable giving some Betcris-clerk the pw of my BC-account in livechat, but this is really taking things one step further. You give everybody who happens to be reading along full access not to your Betonline-account but to your entire Neteller-account, it's ridiculous and completely unworthy behaviour from an A-book. If they want to get rid of Neteller, just take it off completely.

You can't log into a Neteller acct with a Acct #/Secure ID. You can initiate xfers with this information.

yeah true, was confused about that. the possible worst case scenario is the same though: waking up one morning to an emptied neteller-account.

Yep. Its just a minor nit thing. IIRC you can initiate a xfer with just an e-mail or an acct number. You shouldn't have to have both pieces, nor for security should any min-wage type employee have unlimited access to them.

Sorry it took so long to post there answer, however everyone can blame Katstale for the delay. Because I acquired his Moneybookers question as well.

I spoke with Peter late last night and he tells me he is sorry for any inconveniences, but that is the only way they can continue to accept Neteller transactions. He also went on to tell me that BOL can assure us that your information is secure.

Ok, now on to Katstale's MoneyBookers question.

I spoke to Ava this morning and was told that unfortunately at this moment they are not offering Moneybookers as a payment solution because it's really hard to pursue one of these processors at this time.

Thnx and sorry i made everyone wait. For that answer.... I am still not sure what that meant. I doubt that Moneybookers is not accepting new clients? That is how they make money?! Wish BOL would have been more clear on why they won't sign on with MB.
