Default Does SBR needs to be downgraded??

With SBRs illogical mod behavior ( sexygamblerchick ) and the chilling lack of comment
about the scam book CREDIT WAGERING and the seemingly
myriad of ghosts on this site and the need to give personal information to attend the bash to name just a few. I am starting to lean towards the opinion SBR is a scam itself.

I may well be wrong, but perhaps it is time to have a disscusion about this possibility.

SBR is stronger than ever, when you start getting threads like this then you know SBR is big time.

I think the personal info is just for the hotel. It would be the same if you checked a room for yourself. I guess they also want it if they are going to give a reimbursement check for airline flights. I doubt that I will give SBR my CC number or too much personal info, but the hotel will get the number because it is known company with decades of history behind it being a credible institution.

I've upgraded SBR to the 2nd best forum on the net. This is the first, imho: www.godlikeproductions.com

This place is happening. There's a lot of good information and good people here and there's plenty of everything. This is a fun site and it's getting better all the time.

You've driven me to look this up, please notice the recent spike in the graph:

    SBR to the moon, baby.

I can only address this portion of your comment, OM. We certainly won't need or collect any CC information, however you will need to use a CC for your room deposit whether we provide that room or not. Good luck getting checked in to ANY hotel these days without picture ID and a CC. Although, given your statement concerning your opinion of SBR I am unsure why you would even consider attending?

I posted in the bash sticky about if it would be ok to not give any personal info if i paid for my own room and there was no comment from any of the staff at SBR.

That is not the central issue and could be deleted from my post. The thrust of my post was to find posters who could put my fears about SBR going rouge to rest so I could attend the bash.

If you post for SBR why can't you address the first two concerns about SBR. In case the mods or owners of SBR don't realize some very disturbing stuff is being posted on the forums and it reflects badly on the site as a whole.

Perhaps I have missed the post where SBR denouces Credit Wagering?

I certainly did not intend to ignore your first few points, while i do represent SBR there are much more qualified individuals within the company to reply to those. I CAN assure you that SBR is not going rouge, nor eyeshadow, nor lipstick for that matter. SBR Forum encourages freedom of expression, and while some posters may have promoted the shop you mention, I am quite certain that neither employees nor management of SBR have done so.

What individuals would that be and where are they?

It is still being determined whether creditwagering is a bad book or not, at this point they are apparently paying out and in full operation. SBR is clearly holding out rating the company until time has passed to give them a decent rating or until the company shows signs of failing.

Any informed person who took a good look at CR would have the have the intellegence of coal to think they could be on the up and up.

Its and scam. The hook is the idea you don't have to pay if you lose. Its an oldie but goodie.

I don't feel it's been proven on any level that it is a scam, it is just a credit wagering sportsbook and you are certainly expected to pay if you lose. If you are a stiff you will not be a customer of theirs for long and will have your DL added to their super stiff wall of shame. I am confused as to what scam you think it is? You give them your name and address, information they could easily find by simply opening up the telephone book and that's it, when they used to ask for last for of SS# it made me leary but not so much anymore.

This whole CR thing has got my ire up. There are a lot of smart people on here who don't like what is going on, lets pool our knowledge (ala absolute/ultimate bet, wikipedia). We should track the source and expose this operation. They HAVE to be trackable if they ever intend to get paid.

Lets start a thread including any information about this book
that anyone has. (names, numbers, addresses, ips, method of payment and payout, routing information..ete.)

(Note, this is not posting personal information as any company is not private by its nature.)

P.S.(Note: this is SBR's JOB.)pps (No pun intended)

Ok ill answer you as if I didn't think you are part of the scam.

I think there is a blue jade medium size tea pot orbiting saturn right now.

Do you really need proof that there is no tea pot to know there is no teapot?

no one will do it pro bono. CW is not rated, and none of the mods have given endorsements. i don't think it matters if they're a scam or not because people who has a brain who post here knows what are they getting themselves into at CW. they paid so far, nothing wrong with that. i doubt anyone will have over 5k there at once.

but when they decide to pull the curtain, it is going to be 100x bigger than the sportsbook.com delay withdraw. this site will be flooded with traffic because all the CW link reference from google. either way, i don't see anyone has the motivation to actually find out where is CW located.

i would just avoid there and keep an eye on them. when the shit hits the fan (or if), this site will need 2 more servers.

i don't follow your analogy. tea pot might exist....how do you know it does not?

CW is a legit credit book I don't know why so many people think its a scam. How can you hate on a book that will give anyone a dime line of credit without any credit check. Its a damn good book with fast payouts and the DC idea is fucking genius

Makes no sense, but what I'm sayin is would you rather owe or be owed 400 from a credit wagering site and have them pull the plug or have a couple dimes posted up in a reg. book like Betonsports and have them pull the plug, IMO credit wagering is a smalltime rec. book similar to your local bookie, there is at current no clear scam being perpetrated. If they close up shop tomorrow it'll cost a few players 400 CW owes them at worse b/c no one posts up money at this book.

Do a google search for "teapot agnostic".
