    Default Big Brown's Preakness odds?

I'm guessing he goes off at 3/5

    Thoughts?

no higher than 3/5 2/5 or 3/5 is safe to assume, He should win it easy but Colonel John is starting out at 16-1 he is worth a shot too in the smaller field

Big Brown right now is only horse from the Kentucky Derby entered as of now. If that stands it will be the first time in 60 years only the winner ran in the Preakness.

2/5 is fair value, IMO. He'll pay 2.80 Win, 2.20 Place, 2.10 Show.

There is talk now that Gayego will run in the Preakness so we might have another Derby horse in the Preakness.

For the Belmont, Big Brown could get a nice challenge from a horse from Japan that was brought over to run in the Belmont. Horses name is Casino Drive. It ran last Saturday at Belmont park and was pretty impressive.

There has been a lot of discussion among horse players about Casino Drive. Big brown was clearly the class of the Derby but Casino Drive looks to be a legitimate challenger and if the Derby is a scramble and the Preakness a sprint, well, the final leg is the marathon. I suspect a rested Casino Drive will deny the Triple Crown.

BehindattheBar is his only threat, he goes off 1/9

Casino Drive won on a speed favoring track and to me didn't look that impressive.

Hope those odds stick to the Preakness. But those are prolly Bodog's "To Win" bets. I feel the only way to make money off of it is to play the Superfecta with BB as the winner. But holy shit, what a crap field.

I would argue the exact opposite. Belmont seemed pretty fair to me that day, Casino Drive was making only his 2nd lifetime start, winning a G2, pressed the pace, won by about 6 under hand urging. If that isn't impressive, what is? Let's not forget he's a half to Jazil and Rags to Riches. Let's also not forget that BB's 2nd lifetime race was an off the turf 1X at Gulfstream against 4 dogs.

Agree with all fiveteamers points. Casino Drive was pretty impressive especially for only being the horses second career race and after shipping in from Japan. Now gets 4 weeks off to rest for the Belmont.

Casino Drive had a perfect trip.Saved ground around the turn behind a speed duel. It couldn't have been a better trip and he "only" got a 101. Certainly he will improve from there but if he is as good as some are saying he should have, to me, run a little faster than that considering his trip.

I don't think Casino Drive's performance was that impressive either he really didn't beat anybody BB is proven in a big race with a big crowd will Casino Drive be prepared for a big race with a big crowd nobody knows that yet. Also if Casino drive plans to go back to Japan racing he will be no where near as juiced to the gills as BB will be and Dutrow will make sure of that. Japans drug policy will prevent him from racing there for quite sometime if they decide to administer medications for the Belmont. Without the sauce Casino Drive has no hope of beating BB. So its up to the connections on how they play there hand also remeber in the Belmont BB may have to face some of his derby competition also his biggest test we be in th Belmont but it might not come from casino drive

Tough crowd. Didn't even see the whip. Wins for fun, but somehow not impressive.

Tell me then, what does a horse have to do to impress you? Give a post race interview Mr. Ed style?
