I passed on the total of 5. Det does not give up many goals, 10 shut outs, even though they can score a lot.

They also don't commit a lot of penalties.

Neither of these series will produce an upset.

Laying the wood is the only option (or don't play), your likelyhood of cashing is very good.

Detroit will beat Pittsburgh in the Stanley Cup Finals, they are more experienced, tougher, have better coaching, and are just plain better than Pittsburgh (and every other team in the league ) right now.

I don't disagree that Detroit is good but you guys put waaaay too much stock into one game. When Detroit lost their series to Anaheim last year they also won game 1 of the series, when Detroit lost their series to Edmonton in 2006 they also won game 1 of the series...yeah game 1's are important but they are not the series.

Thanks for the stats, but playoffs u can throw out the window.

Be careful with that. It is hockey remember. The baseball 300 mets came through so this may not.

What a game. Both teams getting scoring chances up and down the ice.

    2-1 was flattering for Dallas.

Detroit won the majority of faceoffs, dominated in puck control and shots on goal.
It's like Dallas was skating uphill against this team.

I was convinced Detroit was the real deal after watching the Nashville series.

Yeah, theres more hockey to be played but look for the same result, what can Dallas do to answer? Nothing.

Of course most of us here want the + M/L odds, but there are only four teams left and two teams are dominant, these two will meet in the finals, not likely to get many big + odds games now.

Next game will be a war because Osgood got whacked good by Ribeiro at the end of the game.

Might as well make this a sticky. Lay the wood every night for the rest of the playoffs. Stars and Flyers totally outclassed.
