To bad about The Ultimate Warrior...he turned out into a conservative religious right wing zealot. He went so far as to apoligize for the character of The Ultimate Warrior.

Andre The Giant
Probably the best known wrestler throughout the world was Andre The Giant. He didn't have alot of speed or moves but at his size,he didn't have to be flashy.hehe!
He seemed like an ok guy and lived here in Minnesota for a few years. He fathered a kid close to where I live where the mother was a wrestling groupie.Andre denied the kid was his but at 6 years old the kid was about 5'-9'' and was pushing 200# A judge wouldn't even need DNA testing on that one.hehe! Is there a famous person in this world who hasn't fathered a kid out of wedlock?Just in my area alone you could fill an all star team of singers,athletes.etc.Johnny Cash has a kid here,Bobby Hull has a couple,Hall or Oates has one and Lee Trevino has an estranged daughter and grandkids here. One day I went to the local ball field 100 yards from my house and little Lee the 3rd was hitting balls. The grandkid looks just like Lee.I asked him if he ever saw his grandad and he said he gave him tickets to a seniors 3M tourney in the twin cities but wasn't very nice to him when he saw him.Kind of sad.

As far as actual wrestler goes I would say Bruno Sammartino. As far as overall sports entertainment "Naich" has it hands down. Hogan was good but who do you see impersonating him? Everyone - the best of today, impersonate Flair in some way, shape, or form. My favorite of all-time though is Ultimate Warrrior. He's actually going to be wrestling in Spain in June. Go to http://UltimateWarriorTV.com for more info.
