Yea, for a 10 year old, I would recommend the wii. Its fun for adults too though, so you'll enjoy it as well.

WII is nice. Not only for kids, but also for adults. I personally play Tennis and Bowling a lot.

GL on your purchase.

By the way, I went with your under plays today.

You will enjoy the PS3, and if you like it your kid will love it

Depends on what your getting into. The Wii is coming up a lot here because its party flavor. Outside of Mario type games there isn't much out there for it. Just crap trash games that are generally a big waste of money. PS3 isn't bad, but nothing breathtaking.

Depends on what your looking to play to be honest. Xbox360 has the most games out. While Wii is fun and good, make sure its the games he's going to want to play. Otherwise I would say PS3. Its the same prices as a 360 and they are just starting to pump out the games, xbox will be releasing a new console in 2 years and 360 will be gone. ps3 just came out so it will have more of a shelf life.

Again though it really comes down to the games you want to play and do you want to wait for them to be developed cross platforms if at all.

Plus you can play all your PS2 games on the PS3. If that matters at all.

The WII is your best bet. Plently of kid friendly games. You won't see grand theft auto being on nintendo.

Yah, except in 2-3 years thats going to be a bad thing. All the good games besides the Nintendo products are going to be boring to the kid. The only thing Wii has is Nintendo games. Ones that are good anyways...

there is game for wii that let you pretend to cook (using the wii controller to simulate chopping and stirring) and clean. seems really retarded to me. i am paying a mexican to do those, so i don't have to.
