Looks like both americans won on clay today.Doesn't happen often.Hopefully you guys made some money if you did bet Roddick.I was just throwing up the warning flag with him.Would never bet him personally on clay but I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day right?

Americans are generally bad bets on clay and even more so during the European clay court season. There hasn't been an American who has done real well on clay in quite some time...i know AA won the FO once but that is about it. To be honest, this tournament has gone well for the Americans having Fish win once, Roddick twice (although one win came against Fish), and Blake winning twice (albeit against two highly inconsistent players in Seppi and Verdasco). The most impressive win was Roddick beating Bolleli by far.

We'll see how Roddick and Blake do in the SF's of the tournamnet but am very pleasantly surprised they've made it this far!

Thanks, I'll make a more concerted effort to post some tennis picks in the future. I try to keep an eye on tennis but it can be a very difficult sport to bet. Lines vary widely and books open to American players are not the best for tennis. You really have to know your stuff in tennis....
