When we land a man on Mars the prices will go down. I hope the Mars rover is equipped with a drill. If we find oil on Mars that will prove the existence of life and we can use the oil to flood earth with it and prices will drop.

Gas will come down when the US dollar finally rebounds.

I don't see it going down. It doesn't need to. It can be $5.00 and it will make no difference at all. People will still pay for it.

I don't think it will come down. It's time to buy 4 cyl cars and ride the bike more.

Just paid $3.63 a gallon today. Thats the cheap sheit.

As long as we keep paying the price, I don't see it ever dropping to low. I will rise high, then drop down to a higher steady average. Just like when it moved over the $2 price, and went up to about $2.75 and averaged out to about the $2.50 range. So I think we will be looking at $3.50 a gallon average from here on out after it peaks. Then in a few or so years, up over $4, and so on and so on.

Who here would love to see it back at $2.50 a gallon?

2.50 would be great. I can remember when I was complaining about 1.75 being ridiculous.

here in north carolina, its 3.56 .i think it could go up to 6.00 in two,or three years.i didnt know that russia, and saudi arabia controlled 90 percent of the oil market.its a scary thought, that bush has made russia a super power again ,because of oil.

Was $3.57 at the beginning of the week and then went down to $3.55. Next day it shot up to $3.69. Unbelievable. It always go down slowly, then it bolts back up. You never see it go down .15 cents or anything.

$3.60 here in Wilmington. At Sams Club I can get it for $3.51 that saves 9 cents. I have nitrogen, instead of air in my tires saves around 5-7% per tank. Using cruise control alot more, if possible. I neglected to mention that My vehicle requires premium grade. I've been putting regular and adding an octane boost. I pick that up for $1.00 at the dollar store. I hold 18 gallons figuring saving 20 cents x 18=$3.60-$1.00 for octane boost, saving $2.60 a gallon.
These are a few things you can do to save a little. If I come up with something else I'll post it!

Just paid $3.89 per gallon here in Los Angeles. I really think we need to boycott one of the gasoline companies like Mobil for a week and make them lower costs. The public really needs to get together and do something about this. Plan something out and execute it, not just talk about it.

I've heard so many different plans but it seems no one cares about them enough to try them.

I agree! We can do what is in our power to save. However, I think we need to be proactive and take it to the source.

The only thing the public can do is surrender their SUV's to the dealers in massive numbers. If we bankrupt the automobile industry first then the oil industry will come down together. I have bought stock in the bicycle manufacturing industry a couple years ago and I am loving the $4 per gallon gas right now. Keep it up!
