In the playoffs....
Lakers avg 57.6 1st half
Utah avg 45 1st half
Kobe just won MVP. The crowd is going to be pumped up for Kobe. Kobe is going to prove why he was MVP material.
I feel stronger about the 1st half then the game, I dunno why.

Not to dis your pick or anything, but wouldn't you agree that the 1st half numbers are being weighted too heavily when you consider the opponents that each team played in the 1st round? The Lakers played an overmatched, run-&-gun, 8 seeded Denver team. The Jazz played the 5th seed Houston, a methodical, slower-paced team.
Again, I don't disagree with the play, I just disagree with some of the reasoning. I think Utah's road woes (prior to Houston) are a bigger indicator here, along with LA's relative superiority... Best of luck, regardless.

Nice pick Iwin, finally had a hot day hit that 1st half and took the lakers for the game as well, hedged the game bet with a 2nd half Utah -1.5 bet and hit the middle to take em both. Even caught the over on 1st half Orlando game and 2nd half orl +1.5, after so many bad days in a row nice to have a day when everything goes your way.
