Ace Ace was a god at the RX because he couldn't lose for 2 years. His threads were getting 20,000 views or more.
Those that knew how to gamble knew he was a fraud but the sheep continued to follow and he's been awful the last two years losing a lot more then he has one.

While there seems to be no doubt dodif has done exceptionally well "picking winners" at nascar (i couldn't name a nascar driver, but people on the forum seem to have confirmed this) -- he's repeatedly demonstrated an inability to grasp some of the most basic and fundamental gambling concepts that are essential to anyone that expects to win at this in the long run.
Throw in the fact that Nascar is a small sport with small limits and it doesn't really say anything.

He bet 5 racers and it turned out to be the same as 1-0. If he hadn't picked a winner it would have been 0-5.

The idea is you break even if your "favorite wins" but then you pick some dark horses and attempt to maximize profit. If your going to be real. There is only about 15 drivers in Nascar that have the funds to win. Some drivers suck on some tracks. So betting Nascar isn't exactly the hardest to cap, but its not the easiest either. Limits aren't a problem, just have more than 1 out.

Using only the Lakers games with Gasol and Utah's since the Korver trade and adjusting for LA being the team off the loss -- even including a bigger than normal home edge for Utah I still only make this line -1. It's a pass for me.

I doubt anything Dodif says is true and you have to be somewhat gullible to believe so...just play along with him and let him think that. It probably lifts his self-esteem up. Gaming forums are notorious for having posters pretend that they are professional gamblers. Always have and always will.
In his defense though, I must say that I am impressed with his committment to animal welfare issues.

Raiders: I am not sure what to make of the LAL/UTAH game. Situationally I thought GM 3 was a very strong play on Utah and they barely came through...but I am not so convinced about GM 4 despite their strong home court. Right now, the opening number for LAL is goine so it's a no play now. I see no situational or player advantage for Utah at all in this game.

the bet paid 8 units and u get the initial unit back. thats 9 units. take out the 4 units on the other 4 drivers and that leaves you a net unit profit of 5.
