SBR Bill Dozer reports: BetGateway(SBR rating F-) victims frustrated as they learn this scam sportsbook exists under new name, Bet4Aces.
Player writes: "First i was able to log in to bet4aces using the login info from betgateway and i saw my balance of 585$. i open the chat with edward and ask for cashout..first he said ok and after few days i chat with him again but this time he said " its not me who you talked with" and i was unable to log in to the account again." Bet4Aces claims it purchased Gateway’s system without knowledge of the debt owed to players. The claim is made despite the fact that Bet4Aces is located in the same building as Gateway, uses same members of management as Gateway, and has full access to BetGateway’s player database. SBR has offered to assist Bet4Aces in settling delinquent accounts and Bet4Aces recently paid one player $60,000 of the $120,000 balance accrued while using BetGateway.com. |

Was bet4aces around or reputable before this takeover of betgateway or is their poor rating a result of the takeover??
Are there more sites they're involved with?? |

Gateway is part of a long chain of fly-by-night scams that we tracked back to VipBetZone (rating coverage began June of 04) but likely goes back further.
Bet4Aces opened the same week that Gateway went off-line. Gateway accounts worked at both books and some account holders were moved over to Bet4Aces. When players owed large amounts came to Bet4Aces for their cash, their accounts were blocked. |

well, nobody can say SBR didn't do their part, in warning the players about this scam outfit.
amazingly, even though they have now been in full out "no pay" mode for well over 3 months, robberto still insists they are not yet ready to be declared "insolvent". |

i think the focus should be on applying as much influence and pressure as possible on roberto, the ownership of 4aces,and whoever else can help in seeing that the debt are addressed by late september as promised.it seems to me the delay is simply an attempt to mute this issue and let it quietly burn out but the 4aces office is still open so there may be truth to the story they are planning to deal with this legitimately.roberto claims sbr was on board with 4aces at first and this link with vipbetzone was never suggested till very late.if this link between scam books exists i would request help in bringing formal criminal charges in costa rica as my friends and i have documentation showing unpaid legitimate balances at both shops and a clear trend shows intent to defraud.why has the name of the owner at 4aces remained a mystery.charlie was just a front man scapegoat obviously hired to take the heat off of the person who needs to be exposed-pressured

also, tow, the onlinewire, roberto, whatever has NEVER worked a bailout for the bet4aces failure.betroyal has been kind enough to offer bonuses, but the bonuses are the same as would be offered regardless of bet4aces.if roberto wants recognition for bailing out stiffed players here this is not the same as with cris bailing out rich coast.i dont know if i could call royals deal for betonstars a bailout(i wouldnt have accepted that deal),and i,m unsure what was worked between legendz and no juice).if the legend/no juice was a deal why not extend it to bet4aces acct holders, rather than posting that individual deals are being brokered between royal and 4aces customers.this problem will only be solved when sbr kicks some ass with the bet4aces responsible party

you nailed it.
it is nothing but a stall tactic.. even if these scammers 're-open', it doesn't excuse tow's actions, imo. this whole thing, combined with the fact that now BetRoyal is welcomed @ tow with open arms, after comming to the rescue of the tow victims, just makes me fukin ill. this guy roberto went so far in his campaign to hurt BetRoyal, as to mass email their players (via a betroyal stolen customer database no less) warning everyone that their imminent collapse was just days or weeks away. now that they have jumped to the thiefs recsue a few times, they are the 2nd comming of pinny. I like a few of the people at royal sports, and have always enjoyed using betroyal myself, but, this association just has me shaking my head. Anyways, way off point, sorry.. this bet4aces scam is about as low as it gets..the fact that the players were lied to about being "insured", makes it unforgivably despicable, imo. How people rally around this fraud, i just can't fathom it...and honestly, i don't care much anymore...these morons deserve what they get, imo. betonstars/nojuice/bet4aces/betonsports...on, and on and on and on... (players advocate) lol whatever.. |

I fully agree that bonuses - however gratefully received - are not bailouts, if a bailout is supposed to be anything MORE than a bonus. My guess is that "bailout" is generally held to mean a rescue package of some kind. Bonuses with rollovers that eat all of the bonus and a fair chunk of the deposit are not really bailouts in my understanding of the word. They're just...bonuses. Jumper says the B4As office is actually open - is this the case? I was vaguely assuming they'd migrated elsewhere to set up the new Vietnamese site. Maybe John or Bill could stop by? ![]() |
