Well, nobody's really good enough to carry a team by themselves in this league. As much as this is a superstars' league, you still can't win without a supporting cast. Just look at what Kobe Bryant has done for the Lakers this year and then look at their 28-28 record and watch them struggle to hold on to a playoff spot. The Cavaliers with Lebron are about four games better.

Gotta give some credit for James. The kid is like 21 and his numbers are amazing. He has all the potential to be one of the all time greats. Will be better than Kobe in few years imho.

The league is marketing itself through superstars, instead of teams. So after MJ, Shaq, (and Kobe?), they have to have the next one ready. Not LeBron's fault. Just the way Stern sees things. Ironically, the NBA grew into a prime time sport back in the early 80's when teams like the Lakers began to stress team over individual.

That's exactly what NBA defenders say when they are looking up at the bottom of his shoes as he dunks on their heads. Nobody at the age of 21 has ever possessed the basketball talents of Lebron James. How many years did it take MJ to get that sorryass franchise a championship?

Freebie I am enjoying your posts alot lately. I thought
I was the only one who noticed he bites his nails. He
picks at his nose alot also. But he is an awesome
player and he reminds me alot of Magic Johnson
except not as good of Free Throw shooter and not
as good on Defense but James is quicker and more
athletic. But I would still take Magic cause Magic is
Magic.
