You f*cking right he is...unstoppable. Best 2nd half money machine out there. Pisses me off that Kobe gets the MVP...probably just because everyone feels he is deserving of it from past years. Phuck that Shit, it is supposed to be based on this years performance. CP3 will prove those f*cks wrong when the Hornets are representing the West.

It is very close who should be mvp between Paul and Kobe, I still nod towards Kobe. James in reality is the most valuable to his team though. The award should be changed to best player this and not most valuable.

Without King James, Cavs wouldn't even win 10 games.

Sorry diogee, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Kobe cannot be stopped either, and no matter what, Kobe will ALWAYS be scrutinized. He has always been labeled as a ball hog, or selfish, or as a player that does not make his teammates better. He has been ridiculed for not shooting the ball (Game 7 vs Phoenix), and he has been ridiculed for not trusting his teammates. This year, the MVP award is rightfully his and he has deserved it over the past couple years.

Now I will address the counterargument. I know a lot of you will say that, "The Lakers are a .500 team with Kobe," or "He has Pau Gasol now and they would be nowhere without him." Well, think of his teammates from year's past and you tell me if you could win a playoff series with them. Kwame "I can't catch the ball" Brown? Smush Parker? Brian "Puppy Crap" Cook? Vujacic and Farmar were undeveloped and Kobe had no reason to trust any of his teammates. Kobe did all he could to put the Lakers in the playoffs, and he did all he could to win games for them. He deserves the MVP and it is about time that he gets recognition for his outstanding play.

He modeled his game after Nash. Always studied tapes of his example. But he's stronger and faster than Nash, and outplayed the old man in every meeting between the teams this season.

Byron Scott is the other key to this team. As a member of the Showtime Lakers he knows what it takes to win a NBA championship. This team has truly gelled. A very steep growth curve over the past couple of years.

paul has been awesome all year. the reason why n.o. is running over teams in the playoffs is because Peja has stepped up his game. when that guys back isnt hurting him, he is fuking automatic
