I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's support in the past couple of days regarding my front page article on the Kentucky Derby. Although I know the selections did not turn out well, I was satisfied with the odds they would have all paid and would not have changed my mind on any of them. Big Brown had a great race and could be a true legend in the making but I would not have taken a chance on him at 5-2 odds for various reasons.

Thanks to mofome, Willie, and all of you out there who took time to add positive comments on my article. It was fun being on the front page right alongside with all the big names in the business and I hope everyone enjoyed reading it.

Hint: Before you post any picks you need to personally be at the track in the mornings when the horses are training with your stop watch. If you did that you would have picked the winner very easily. The stop watch never lies son.

It's alright, mofome. Getting heckled goes with the territory. These other guys on the front page are wrong many times but they are still top names in the business.

They are top promoters who are able to sell their picks. There are players at SBR who have out performed the SBR tout page season after season, charging $0.

I have no problems with you and haven't even read the article but I'm just pointing out I wouldn't say the front page touts are worth much around here or any gambling circle really.

Understood, crazyl. A valid point and it's clear that everyone should be reading through the forums daily. Many good handicappers both here and across the streets - some being much better than touts who sell picks.

the front page is valuable when it has good information, not as much when there is just a trend like "the blue jays are good on fridays so i like them". reloads piece was pretty awesome, imo, and i dont even watch the horses.
