i actually received two degrees this may (B.S. in statistics and a B.A. in psychology) but ill only be 25k in debt and have had multiple statistics professors say that it would be in my best interest to pursue a M.S. degree. i can not imagine starting out at 35k with a M.S. in statistics, but i guess i could let yall know next summer/fall!

I didn't even graduate Highschool dropped out and got my GED and I make almost 60,000 a yr and never spent a dime in college... I even start 2 yrs out of highschool making 35,000 and still never spent a dime going to college.... but to each his own... GL in your summer finding a job and making that money back that you paid in college.

I am not trying to knock you but 60k a year isnt that great. Im not saying its bad especially for not going to school but anyone can get a 60k job without going to college by getting into construction. I am looking to make 6 figures

You can also give credit to them truck drivers making about 70k a year working 12 hours a day. The last I checked, minimum requirement was a clean driving record and a Class A DL.

It is good to have a degree. I have my masters and I don't utilize my degree whatsoever. What I do for a living doesn't require any kind of degree. It is all who you know in my line of work.

I Couldn't agree with you more. I guess it is all relative ya know? 60K a year is nothing in my opinion. I would find it hard to get up each morning if I made 60k. I make anywhere from 85-105k a year and I don't think that is a lot. I am doing very bad comparing to my friends.

Thats what I do but I don't work 12 hrs a day... And only 4 days a week off every weekend Sat, Sun, Mon every week. So you figure I make that only working half a yr. Now it doesn't sound so bad now does it??

congrats! No one can ever take your education from you. My degree opened doors for me that would have been closed otherwise. I ended up working in a field totally unrelated to my formal education for many years but all they wanted was someone with a degree. Major didn't matter. G. L. in the future!

For 900 you get a condo in a shiitty area. 1mil gets you no yard nada in a so so area. I am very fortunate to of got a condo by the beach in 96 before things took off. It is very expensive here. A lot of the movie stars moved up here from La and tons of Sports stars live here as well.

My dad almost bought a house up there somewhere a couple years ago when he retired but then he started a company and is in Texas now. We were in Lake Havasu AZ for a couple years.
