Default Kentucky derby is Super Bowl like in fair weather bandwagon fan support.Good4betting

The Kentucky Derby probably has long surpassed the Super Bowl when it comes to the beautiful, famous and influential people who wouldn't get caught dead going to an average track on an average race day showing up in droves for the derby.I wish ESPN and the networks would knock off spending 60% of the air time covering Kid Rock,Grand Master master B,Mix master bader Ginsbergh,Paris Hilton,Peoria Holiday Inn and who ever else shoves their butt for publicity purposes in front of the camera.

I wonder how Churchill Downs incorporated decides who's worthy of sitting in what they call millionaires row with all the beautiful people?

Then you get the underclass serfdom that gets herded in the infield.hehe!

I guess it makes for good betting though having alot of stupid people with alot of money contributing to the wagering pools.

I think it's neat that they interview some celebrities and you never know who will show up there. Shows that it's truly a spectacle. And yes, it does help that celebrities with big money are putting thousands down on their horses with no real rhyme or reason to it. So much money is bet on this race that the odds in the final couple of hours barely seem to move at all.

Yes sir at 4 pm the biggest race of the year goes off and it is one of about 4-5 days a year when horseracing gamblers might actually be able to win a buck or perhaps not just depends on their luck and capping, but pools have many times what a normal race has in it and a good percentage of that is complete moron money so good luck let's all hit a 10k tri.
