Holiday has 4HR, an OPS over 1.000 and is slugging over .680 vs Penny in 35 ABs. Atkins kills penny, Helton hits him well, Tulowitzki wont be missed as he was hitting under 0.70 against Brad.


The dodgers bats have shown absolutely no power vs francis in a decent number of Abs; A jones is actually the only field player on this roster to have ever taken francis deep in over 100 team ABs. Kent, Pierre, and furcal all hit francis well, but no one else does a whole lot against him.

Francis has not been hit real hard this eyar despite the poor era. He is only giving up 15% LDs while 48.6% of the balls batted against him are ground balls. As of now his HR/FB ratio is 17.8% which is absurdly high and means hes simply been a bit unlucky. Francis is a 3 pitch pitcher. 59% FBs, 12.8% CBs, and 28.2% change ups.

Penny's LD% vs. him is a tad over 20% which isnt great. Penny has been giving up more fly balls than usual, but he hasnt been hurt by the HR. He's thrown about 75% FBs and 15.5% curve balls so far this year, if he becomes predictable i think the rockies bats can get to him.

The pitching seems like a wash even though the dodgers are scoring a lot this season it seems that francis has their number a bit. I like col ff and the over 8.5
