Default Too Hard To Win With A Small Bankroll

I play with $200 now, hard to win.

I am better with 5k because you can still have money through bad streaks.

You need a big bankroll to have a shot at sports betting

did you lost 50 dollars already? once you settle next monday, you'll have the full 250 bankroll to work with.

it's just as easy to "win" with a $200 bankroll as it is with a "5000" bankroll. I mean, wouldn't you adjust your bet size accordingly. Why should the amount of money dictate the likelihood of winning. This whole line of thinking is absurd.

jj is big baller...can't bet less than a cent a game...that would be an insult to his gambling dignity

    Not true.

I've turned $17 in to $5000 once and $50 in to $2000 several times.

It's all about streaks and I've been on some crazyass ones.

All about streaks and the ability to limit your plays to the 1-2 you really like until you build your bankroll back

This, while funny was uncalled for. Everybody knows that size matters in the sexual arena but the great equalizer I'm told.is a big bankroll of money. It helps if you have both, but more to the original point of betting with a big bankroll of money vs a small banroll, the larger the bankroll the more float or difference of betting size as compared to the small bankroll. This would make it easier for money management purposes and thus easier to win because of the greater options for betting.

it's irrelevant how much money you have.. in this business, the key is to never run out of money.. and by doing this, IMO, you must bet no more than 1-2% of your total bankroll. so if you have 5k to begin with, no more than 50-100 per game and try to build it from there.. once you're up a substantial amount, then you can raise your bets.

so if you have 200 to start with, no more than 2 to 4 small dollars per game. i know it sounds crazy, but this is the only way you don't go broke. if you bet 50 a game, then 4 losses and you are out of the game.

the key here is to try to stay in the game, because if you go broke, it's game over.

Exactly. One problem though. Degenerate gamblers don't know how to and/or can't resist the action enough to manage their bankrolls properly.

Should have bet the Giants in the Super Bowl and you would have 50K.

Stop replying to JJ's pointless threads...he gets paid to make them and they are so stupid..all he is doing is posting garbage because he knows you people will respond and will keep the board "active"..his threads deserve no response

always better to have a gun than a knife no matter what argument could be made . $50 is like having a knife , sure you may be among the few to kill the grizzley with your $50 but come on .. come strapped to the table your odds are better you will prevail . $200 is a 22 cal , $1000 is a s+w glock 9 , $5000 is like a having an ak47 .

grizzley stands no chance of surviving if you have the ak , most likely you win .

    toppy,

you wanna bet 1 dime a game with a 20k bankroll, go ahead.. but if you have 2 bad days in a row, you're broke.. and when you're broke and have no money to bet with, even if you hit 100% after that, it will do you nothing.. go bet 7% a bet and see how fast you'll be finished gambling if you go on a minor bad run.

I have been told by many pros that the bigger the bankroll the better chance you have to win. You press with small bankrolls.

here's a quick plan of action for you, Coach, off the top of my head... Take your $200 roll and split it up into $100 units... play $100 bets till you get up to a dime and start making 10% unit bets until you hit a 100k roll... hit quick or go bust... worst comes to worst you go mow a few lawns to start over again... you will back in the game real fast (or be mowing alot of lawns)

I'm with Herbie, but you should put the two $100 on opposing sides of the same game.

To jump start that winning streak you're going to need.

So true, coach. You need at least 5k to grind out a good profit, unless you consider 2$ bets a part of your strategy. Save up and play with 5k or don't bother. Either that or go all in all the time. It's a sickness, coach. Phuck us!
