This place is a better hangout than it is serious gambling discussion lounge. We have one forum designated to handicapping principles and most, if not all, of the topics there are in theory. Nobody shares anything practical.

SBR is a great place to shoot the sh*t, talk about games and chill out, but I wouldn't attribute it much credit toward any success I've had. I've learned more from others talking to them personally on AIM than what's posted here.

Yeah I see your point but there is still a lot of good info...it just has to be dug through. I personally learned a lot about the basics by reading write-ups in the parlay of the day contest as well as those put out by various posters.

Dead serious...I have stated before that before I found this place I would just pick games...no research, stats, or anything...if you look at the Jan and Feb parlay standings I think I was hitting 34% in both months on individual games since I didn't have a clue what the hell I was doing.

Yeah pretty much but I put several hours into handicapping each day....I also have not worked for a few months for my surgery so that gave me plenty of time.
