    Default 125/1 on Eight Belles

every ****in time i post on this forum someone questions something about my post. **** this. I'm the only pro here and I came to help out and teach you guys a few things. I'm a vegas gambler, I play with cash and get paid in cash. I dont care for online balances and online odds. I dont care for track odds unless i'm doing exotics. My job full time is too beat the casino and find the best lines/odds I can. Yet everytime I post someone is pretending like they know more or discredit me. Thats why no one who does this for a living posts here. you all do this online for fun. I moved to vegas many years ago because I knew i could do this for a living.

My friend your talking about track odds that wont be finalized till the moment of the race. thats for suckers. I live in vegas and that my out. Whatever yours is, is your business. I dont question people. If you cant get the odds i can thats not my problem. Umma do me, you should do you. Just to prove my point and show some of you clowns how its done I went down to the Hilton and placed some wagers on eight belles. I came home took pictures of the tickets and the derby odds sheet from the Hilton. The tickets were printed an hour ago and the derby sheet is current as of 4/30/08. Dont tell me I am getting 20/1. Thats for suckers. I got 125/1 locked in. Everyone here is an amateur but wants to act like a pro. I understand u were talking about track odds but i have told u people straight up that I am playing in vegas not online. As you can see they took $75 (they wouldnt take $100) and moved the line down to 100/1 on the next ticket. $ moves odds. thats how it works. Eight Belles is a longshot who prolly wont win but dont question what i odds i can get.

eating at the casinos all the time is very bad for your health. i wish i have easy access to vegas books. cash in and cash out...no bullshit waiting for bank wires to clear. the only problem is that i can't seem to stay away from the craps table.

I've got a question for you. Dont the LV books weed out the pros and cut their limits? I've especially heard this about the Hilton. My question is do you get someone else to make your bets?

yes they would only take $75 on the bet. it helps me having a few girlfriends. But had other people placing bets and for $10-$15 in this case. They dont call a sportsbook manager when the bets are below a certain limit and you can hit them over and over again as long as u dont try to win over $2000 per ticket. But with 125/1 i had to have a couple different people. Not to mention I got great odds on eight belles at the wynn too!

ALL BOOKS TRY TO WEED OUT BIG AND CONSISTENT WINNERS - FACT.

All I said is that you can't get 125-1 anymore on Eight Belles, no need to be a prick. I got Gayego at 55-1 over a month ago, but he's down to 25-1 now.

as far as track odds go.

You said I cant get 125/1 on eight belles and I got 125/1 an hour ago. did u even read my post.

and u just said again that I cant get 125/1 anymore when its clear that i did and hour ago and still can at a certain casino i am not going to mention. i'm not being a dick. you were flat out wrong and thats all there is to it. Best of luck. I am sick of everyone questioning me when i am one the few if not only pro's here.

You locked in at a geat price, much like I did on Gayego. I agree that Future prices usually offer much better value than track odds. But to tell other posters to expect 125-1 on Eight Belles is misleading. You found one spot with an extremely generous line and bet it. Congrats on your bet.

Those are great odds. Unfortunately, shes a toss out. Sheets be damned. Will make a nice coaster though!

This is getting old. How many times does he have to prove he's the real deal?

Big Brown draws far outside for Derby
    By MARTY McGEE
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Big Brown will start from post 20 and Colonel John will start from post 10 when the 134th Kentucky Derby is run Saturday at Churchill Downs. Track linemaker Mike Battaglia pegged Big Brown as the 3-1 favorite, followed by Colonel John at 4-1 and Pyro (post 9) the third choice at 6-1.

No horse has ever won the Derby from as far outside as post 20.

The connections of Big Brown, including trainer Richard Dutrow Jr., were assigned the 16th pick in the random draw for post-position picks earlier in the day. Despite still having the choices of posts 1, 2, 18, 19, and 20 when their turn came at the annual post-position show held in downtown Louisville, they chose the farthest outside.

Dutrow said he "wanted to get a good clean trip."

"We're all right," he said. "We're happy."

The connections of Colonel John had the third pick. Visionaire, with the first pick, will start from post 8, while Big Truck, with the second pick, will start just to his inside in post 7.

There are no entries, nor is there a mutuel field, so all post positions in the Derby also are program numbers.

not sure why bob black jack selected the 13 hole over the 2 when theres no speed horses inside of him and he could be the lone speed at the rail. now he'll run sideways to grab the rail instead of starting from there...i dont get it

tough draws for cowboy cal and gayego who like to be front-runners and will have a tough time doing so now
