Talking LeBron James was assessed a retroactive flagrant foul

LeBron James was assessed a retroactive flagrant foul for the elbow he gave to Andray Blatche's chin in the first quarter of Game 1 of the Cavaliers' series against the Wizards.

They don't call him for anything during the game, and you can't come within 10 feet of him while the ball is in play, but i'll be damned if the Lebron-Rules apply when he's sleeping.

What is the purpose of assessing a flagrant foul after the game is over?

They just to let him know that he can get a flow on someone.
