I'm going to try my hand at bases this year. What book or books should I use? Thanks.

5Dimes and their 5 cent overnight lines and Pinnacle with their 8 cent lines are a must have.

mansion might be the one to consider here. i really thinking that the exchanges are the way to bet this sport this season.

BuddyBear and I were talking about this the other day, and we pretty much decided it would be to our benefit to have an active account at:
Pinnacle
5Dimes
BetJamaica
and one of the exchanges, probably Mansion

The SBR BEST BASEBALL SPORTSBOOKS page will be out Monday. It's a great resource that will give you all the price break points and a lot of good, juicy information.

I'm looking forward to this. Makes it easy for even us old dogs to see what changes if any are out there. Same shops that dealt 20 cent lines going to be the same this year? Dime line shops breaking the same and so on....Originally Posted by SBR_John
Good idea guys, hope this makes it by Monday.

pat, i too am looking to make some serious coin on those doggies this baseball season. i don't want to use 20 cent lines this year, and cut into my profit margin at all. i highly recomend that every member/lurker here reads this report once it's posted on the main site.![]()

Not to sound like an SBR asskisser but this is a great idea Dan. The week before a major sport breaks is a perfect time for a site to go around to all the books (especially their advertisers) and find out what they have in store for the new season. Sometimes books will make changes from year to year, sometimes there is new books out there, and sometimes players might just be looking to try out a new book. Good for the books to get the message out and great for us players to come to one spot and be pretty much updated as to what is going on. It's such a good idea I asked RX to do the same thing with their advertisers.
Nothing against partying and having a good time but a site that wants to be on their way up should be doing stuff like this instead of living it up right before baseball season starts. Seems like it would be a much better use of time, money and energy. I know as a player that other stuff is fun but I really look for content when I visit a forum like this. Props to you guys for having the foresight to offer something along these lines.

pat, i think stuff like this should be common courtsey if nothing else. i'm not talking about just SBR doing it, i'm talking about every other site out there. every member should want to read these types of reports to find out what book is offering what.

fixxer, both those books appear to be using 20 cent lines this year. you might want to consider finding a book that will be using a dime line.
