Default Did anyone factor Bush's rebate check into betting with Credit Wager?

I have a hunch that a few people bet with Credit Wager figuring that if they lost, they would use their federal rebate check for paying them off.Anyone here do that?

Someone should call in Rush Limbaugh and tell him that's where the money is going and Rush would probably flake out.hehe!

While I wasn't in this category I definitely could see alot of people going this route. The temptation for action is a hard one to overcome - even when you are in the hole.

I wonder if Vegas sees a small spike due to the checks. For a lot of people the check will feel like extra cash they will use for entertainment. People who spend it overseas whether they live there, or send it there, is part of the deal.

I saw some editorials arguing the gov should have handed out **** gift cards instead. Sounds like a better way to "stimulate."

I've had a number of years in the past where I gambled away my tax refund before even getting it. I'm sure many others out there will do the same.

Those check cashing scammers that charge the high interest rates for tax refunds...what % of their customers stop in on the way to the casino?

When I lived in vegas the off strip casinos would give locals a 'bonus' when cashing IRS or payroll checks at the cage.
