Question Is Kevin Garnett the Alex Rodriguez of the NBA?

Meaning the team he is on has a slim chance of winning a championship? I know its still early, and the Celtics will probably win the series with the Hawks, but he couldn't get it done with the Timberwolves.

    We all know AROD's story.

So how about it? Is KG the AROD of the NBA?

Arod's story that he is currently the best every day player in baseball. KG doesn't fit that.

You can't compare the two yet. ARod joined a team that had been to the World Series 6 out of the last 8 years, winning 4 of them, and instantly turned them into a team who endured the worst choke in sports history in the playoffs, and then could not get out of the first round for the next several years ...

KG played for a sub-standard team his entire career and this is the first time he has been to the playoffs with any chance to do something. And the playoffs aren't over for him ...

Don't insult KG by comparing him to ARod ... that's just not fair!!

(oh, and as Juan would say, you need at least three careers worth of sample sizes to judge KG's performance in the playoffs ... you not nearly there yet, son)

nope, half of Garnett's impact can not be shown in stats and on paper.

Garnett is more of a team guy and has more impact on his teams to win

Yanks do not even need A-Rod
