Steelers. They got the second best running back(who was projected to go 16th or higher) and the best wide receiver in the draft(who was expected to go in the first round) and stole him in the second.

id say the steelers and patriots...their players will fit right in and keep both teams right back in playoff contention w/ depth at positions of need

My team was stupid. Why you wouldn't take Glenn Dorsey is beyond me. Instead, you take a running back, which you really don't need, and let your rivals take the guy who's going to be slamming him into the ground for years to come.

In my opinion no one in this draft did better than my Chiefs - even though Dorsey & Flowers were basically handed to them. With that being said, they are still a very long way from being good again - and that goes for the rest of the AFC West outside of San Diego.
2008 AFC West Predicted order of finish
San Diego 10-6
Oakland 7-9
Denver 6-10
Kansas City 6-10

I don't think Philly was THE worst. They actually got good value in the Otah trade and they did did pick up a guy who could be another weapon on Philly's offense. With that being said, yea, they could have done better. At least they will be stocked with early picks next year - I think Carolina might become one of the worst teams in the league next year.

Miami. Getting their #1 signed before the draft sets a trend for future drafts, IMHO. Merling in the 2nd round is a steal. Henne in the late second round is good value. Miami still needs another draft like this next season to get back into contention, but they are well on their way after this draft.
I thought the Packers & Steelers got good value for their picks. Mendenhall falling to the Steelers and Brohm to the Packers both were very lucky breaks. Also, Big Ben got his big WR that he wanted, so he can stop whining now.
The Lions look like they might have finally not had a terrible draft. They finally decided to pass on drafting a WR in the first round! Seriously, though, solid players all the way down their list.
The losers were Atlanta, Oakland, Dallas. Maybe Ryan will prove me wrong, but I'm not sure that he was that much better than Flacco, Brohm, Henne to take him at #3 overall. Oakland taking a RB at #4 is just foolish when they've got so many other needs. Dallas passing Mendenhall for Felix Jones is just plain stupid.

How could you say Philly was the worst? Are you one of those people who pop for big names in the draft & so you never heard of Trevor Laws and automatically think he stinks? P-shaw! DeSean Jackson will help this team big time in the return game.
Chiefs for sure did well. Even though the Panthers Fed themselves with the Otah trade, I think they drafted pretty well. Redskins got some decent WRs and a solid TE.

I liked the Chiefs draft, especially Dorsey falling to them. Albert fits their needs on OL. Flowers is good value. Some other good parts in the later rounds with extra picks thanks to the Vikings trade for Allen.
Giants did well also, considering they were picking in the last slot. Plenty of secondary & LBs, precisely fitting their needs.
The Eagles had a decent draft, with the peculiar trade with Carolina basically trading Eagles #1 this year for Carolina's #1 next year plus some later round picks this year. Philly fit their needs for 2008, plus can look forward to an extra #1 next year.
Another loser is the Panthers. They overpaid to get Otah at #19. Probably reached for Stewart as well. These players will help but won't be enough to push them to the next level in 2008.

Laws is a joke. Can't do anything vs the double team. He's a fat POS.
Jackson and that's it is a good draft.
