I have one post to go after this and as soon as I hit 1700 I will be retiring from SBR. Im taking a cue from Beatthejerk. I am aggrevated that my PMs were revoked and I think it was for bad reasons. I will continue posting and doing videos but it will be done elsewhere.

I will still be in Vegas for the weekend during the bash only because Ive got plans to party with several SBR posters there and we have already got setup with a limo and all. I dont need SBR's airfare voucher or free room.

I have no problem with any of the posters here except for maybe 1 or 2. I dont like Nicky Santauro or this new douchebag sonny vega. A lot of great posters here that I enjoy reading and talking to but I will not be a part of this forum if I cant even use the PM feature. I did not like this quote I recieved in an email from Willie Bee - "If you start any more threads moaning and whining about this, your PMs may never get reinstated." I try to help fellow posters out and end up getting my PMs revoked over it. I dont think thats any way to handle things.

Good luck fella! I was surprised you lasted so long. I said it a long time ago that SBR needs to treat its best genuine posters with respect but my concerns go on deaf ears. Willie Bee is not treating you right by threatening you with loss of your PM's. This place is worse policed than North Korea.

Reinstate his PM's. He is well liked by everyone and a legitimately friendly guy, I don't know how you could possibly justify stripping his PM's unless there's some huge secret we're unaware of. I doubt the guy was trying to scam anyone or take one of your referral bonuses..

Alot of guys have lost their privilege to PM people.

Do they get a warning before it's gone? What if anybody else makes some mistake and they get their privilege taken away. There's not even a list of stipulations or rules so it doesn't sound fair.

Kellen lost his PMs on the third violation of the PM terms. He was told he would get them back in 30 days. I do not rush to publish the content of private messages or e-mails like Kellen, but if he will give me permission I will be more than happy to publish how he was 'just trying to help a poster out.' There are two places that the rules are published: In the Terms of Service every poster agrees to when registering their posting account here at SBR and in the FAQ.

Thanks for the support guys. I feel I have been done wrong by having my PMs revoked. Its not that I used my PMs so much but I just dont feel what was done is right. I went back and reviewed the Forum Rules and here seems to be the rule I violated:

"With respect to SBR Forum's Private Message feature, SBR's intentions have always been to maintain and respect the privacy of users’ private messages. However, reports of abuse or misuse will be investigated. When evidence of wrongdoing is found (abusive messages to other posters, soliciting other users for referral bonuses, attempts to sell picks or any other form of solicitation, etc.), appropriate action will be taken. This includes having PM privileges revoked and possible removal from SBR Forum. In order to retain the PM feature for responsible forum posters, SBR staff will review PMs on a regular basis to ensure users abide by our terms of service."

Althought I didnt send any abusive messages, I didnt solicit any referral bonuses and I never tried to sell any picks. I merely was answering a question from a poster about a local in his area. There was a thread started by a poster asking if anyone knew an agent or a local in his area. I PMed him and told him that I knew a guy. Never gave out any info in the PM just let him know that I knew a local in his area. I did that with 2 posters. The final straw seemed to be when a poster messaged me about a bookie and I merely asked for some info on it.

Willie Bee, if you want, you can post those 3 "violations" of the forum rules for everyone to see. I would post them myself but cant for obvious reasons.

*EDIT* Once I received a warning for those PMs, I halted all communication. I never again sent a message about bookies. Never was I trying to cheat SBR or another poster. All of you guys know I would not try to cheat anyone. There is a lot of jokes about owing bookies, but thats it, just jokes. There is no truth to them, we are just having a good time.

I heard Keller was running a bookie operation through PM's with Against All odds and that is a no no with SBR. I think they wanted "A Cut" of profits and Keller said no. I might of mixed up story a little but it is close.

Correct Mr.Rake...

A lot of other forums out there don't even offer PM privileges at all. I mean I guess management could also spin the Mr.Kellen's supporters against him and abolish everyones PM's, while putting the blame entirely on him solely. However, the 30 day suspension is fair and members need to remember respect the rules IMHOO.

Maybe take a break for a few weeks, and then come back and see if things are better.

This place is headed downhill and you are an asset to this place. I have taken some time away from here myself, mainly because Im not big into bases, but the place is not as much fun as it once was.
