Good hypothetical probably not though because you don't know who'd win still and you don't know which games theyd correspond too I think you'd probably do worse actually because instead of researching the matchups youd be too busy tryin to do the price is right type matching

Yeah, exactly, it's like that prices is right game where you have to try to match the product with the price. Most people lose on it. I would say this might even make it more difficult.

Without thinking too much - yes. I would not have many plays, but would never lose. I would only take underdogs getting more points than the biggest margin for the day.

Example: April 14, biggest margin was 16. Heat were 18 pt dogs.

I think I could win with it using the usual handicapping that I use....say the winning margin is lower than the spread then you would know that the dog covers no matter who wins the game.

If only ML's then yes I would imagine everyone would lose in the end but spreads would be easy to beat if you knew the winning margin ahead of time.

now i don't understand the question.. do you just say that these 4 nba games tonight will be decided by 9,4,8 and 12.. OR do you break down each game.. example: bos vs chi will be 9... SA vs nj will be 12, and so on.. big difference here, because if you specify each game individually and you have to play ML, then for sure you'd win.. but if you take SA, you have lay about -800 or so..

when heat play celtics and you say 18 will be the margin, then theres NO WAY in hell the heat can ever win by 18 in boston. this is the only way you can beat this..

I agree with this. If you knew the margin for an indivdual game you have a shot. If you have all the margins without the games it would be pretty useless.

It still would be tough. You could have said Game 3 for Philly/Detroit would be a 20 point win and I don't think too many people would've taken Philly.

Definitely you are an ass if you want validation of that point. It's just a hypothetical fun question and should be treated as such. You don't have to post here nobody is forcing you.

Of course this would never happen unless you are Biff from Back to the Future. The point was to illustrate how difficult it is handicap games in general even if I give you the difference in scores ahead of time. What do you think, that I believe scientists will discover a way to determine the exact outcomes before they are play?
