Default This thread has been a long time coming...

    Boys,

If you spend as much time in your computer chair as I do, you will know what I am talking about. Swass. Which chairs are best to avoid swass, and if you have a big leather chair like mine, how do you deal with the stickyness and lingering odour after a long day of posting? Summer is coming and I need a game plan.

Not sitting butt naked in the chair and frequent showers have always helped me.

I prefer to put the laptop on the top of the treadmill and walk the entire day.

    ragey,

don't you find it hard to type, use mouse etc??

You are one of those crazy health nuts aren't you. Is that cat some sort of organically raised animal you plan to eat?

    Some stuff I've tried:

    1. Chair cover. Change the cover and toss it in the laundry if it starts to stink.

    2. Get up for 15 minutes every hour. This makes sense, but I know it's tough to get into the routine.

    3. Temperature control. Keep the room temperature at 68 degrees and you won't get swamp ass nearly as bad. Buy a window air conditioner for this room.

    4. Stay showered, change clothes, underwear often enough. Again, getting into the habit is the toughest part.

    5. Get into shape, lose weight. This one is the toughest one, but it works best. Swamp ass is much less of an issue if I'm not 50 lbs overweight.
