Default Food fights, food riots and rationing food.Is anyone here hoarding food?

It's always good to have about $100 worth of extra filler, emergency food in bulk form that you could have gotten dirt cheap at Aldie's,Sam's Club or Costco a couple years back that's still cheap.

Alot of religion's like the Mormons tell their flock to always have a couple years worth of food on hand in case of emergency. When you look at natural disasters like Katrina where no one kept food on hand, they all had to stand in some dysfunctional government food line waiting for hours.

Mac and cheese until recently could have been had for 5 boxes for a buck so you could have gotten $20 worth of that.Rice was under $10 for 50 pounds, now it's twice that if you are lucky to find it.A fifty pound bag of pocorn was under $10 recently, now it's $16.95.Huge bigger than a gallon cans of Raggu pizza sauce used to be a little over $3 not long ago.So if a person just bought $100 worth of this dry and long lasting-non spoling food, you have yourself a cheap hunger insurance policy.

Things are getting so whacky that the game wardens are gearing up for a huge increase in wild game poaching.Mark my word, you are going to hear a ton of instances where people are shooting deer on peoples land and near roads etc.where it will become a real danger. When people hit a deer with their car, they will be hauling it back home instead of letting it become crow food on the shoulder of the highway.

I always have a 2 week supply of water, food, booze, dog/cat food and gas for the generator. Not because of whats being seen on the news lately, but for hurricanes that always seem to visit us here in FL.

Most of us could last a year on what we've got "stored" in our bodies alone. Food shortage will make the avg. fat degenerate gambler look like a genius.

I have no idea how much extra food we have around the house. The pantry is so packed that you can't open the door with out turning into a circus juggling act from the stuff that spills out at you. The chest freezer is also packed and since I live in the sticks, I have a generator to power the things that I need, with just enough power to make the frig, freezer, T.V., directv divo box, and of course the hot tub work all at once.

Good we know who to kill when the food runs out.

No reason to kill anyone, I will gladly help out the starving needy people. I also have the wife doing the farmer thing with all types of veggies going. I want to get a sun house for the vegetables. O.K. this is a lie, I really want to start to grow my own ganja buds.
