My pasty white redneck skin is toasted from prolonged exposure to sun. What are the best remedies to alliviate the suffering?

Anything but rubbing alcohol on a gauze pad.
Ocean Blue or something like that feels great as well...keep it in the fridge. Aloe Vera is awesome as well.

Yeah this morning...the arms are already phucked and probably more so in the morning. Loved the burn they gave me though and could barely finish the final set.

    Right, aloe vera is good.

But if you're really burned, to the point of blistering, go to a health food store and buy the smallest bottle of Vitamin E gelcaps (not pills) you can find.

Use a pin to puncture a handful, one at a time, and squeeze the liquid onto the burn.

    Works fast to heal up.

Do not do what I did in the past. I have been a contractor for 35 years and in my younger days always wanted that good tan. Would work without a shirt on all the time.

Paying for it now. 6 years ago had basil skin cancer removed from my face. Going in today as I have had a sore on my back for 6 months. Cancer again. Thank God it is not melanoma.

Well good news on that Nober, take care of yourself.

I had a streak of 2 years where I never left house so cannot really relate to sun burn, most gamblers are prone to sunburn because we do not leave house much and when we do look what happens with Paver.

Thanks guys. I tried the aloe vera and it felt good for a while. I was hoping to get some input from the Costa Rican guys since they live close to the Tropics or maybe Florida, Cali, Nevada guys.

Sometimes I wonder if people are actually from the places they claim to be.

jjgold, we need some input on that.
