Dodif, if you don't mind me asking, what's your reasoning here bud? You always make solid plays, just curious to know why you decided on Detroit tomorrow, against a team they match up poorly against. Just going on the whole embarassment factor of them getting blown out at home and booed off their home court? Officiating crew? Inside tip? The Pistons only covered -10 against Philadelphia once in the last eight games.

after game 1, i actually leaned towards pistons to win the next game. but pistons -10??? sudden reality check today, i got nothing to back it up with. only the fact that pistons lost game 1 and it's a must win for them. are they in the same caliber as the celtics? i highly doubt it right now. they don't bury teams! when flip saunders took out his starters when 'we' all bet on them, i wished they would lose in the first round ...right now, it's looking dat way if they don't get their sh!t together and lose again tonyt.

even with the games going under, sixers still manages to cover. i thought low-scoring ballgames were the groundwork for pistons winning (covering) games?!?

so with those, prolly a no play is the best option!

All the Sixers supporters kinda got owned tonight, not going to lie. The fundamental difference is that this is the Playoffs--the Pistons are vastly more experienced and don't really care if the Sixers win 1 or 2. Point is, Rasheed by himself has more playoff experience (or nearly so) than the entire Sixer team combined. Sixers are an interesting young team, but are a few pieces away from so-called elite status. Their biggest flaw (especially for the playoffs) is that they have no post-up players. Reggie Evans? The only good thing inside he's ever done is grab Kaman's nuts (which actually isn't such a good thing). Thad Young is going to be realllly fun next year, especially for Fantasy bball -- but he isn't really the postup answer they need. Dalembert can block shots...but he goaltends nearly as many shots he blocks. Andre Miller and Iggy form a very solid backcourt that'll get them some wins.

If the Sixers win another game I'll be surprised. They aren't built for the playoffs -- no inside presence nor any depth. I bought into the Sixers +10 hype tonight and got owned. Oh well, life goes on.
