With Miami getting their man (basically had no choice) it leaveds sx teams in top 7. NE would likely want to trade down, Oakland might, St Louis might.

New Orleans has been in contact with St louis, making the second pick oveall. Saints would like to get Dorsey, local boy (ie, played up the road in Baton Rouge) and NO needs a top D lineman.

And I assume Dallas still has an interest in McFadden. Maybe a trade up with Oakland.

I think a trade up into Top 7 will be done this year.

If you're talking about the Chargers, that was all planned. SD didn't want him, but they knew Giants did, so they grabbed him and they took whatzisname from NCState, AND SD got an additional draft pick, namely Shawn Merriman.

Worked out good for the Chargers, tho I hated to see old Archie Manning's snotty comment at the time that the Giants had a better chance to win a Super Bowl than the Chargers.

Problem is, he was right.

I know New Orleans is the team talking about trading up, but I think when push comes to shove, it doesn't get done. It's too tricky to make this kind of trade. Neither team wants to give up enough value to get it done.
